#3 NUDESTIX TINTED BLUR STICK|| Go to cream contour – Impressed by the shade selection! Blurs imperfections while sculpting the face. A very soft, diffused effect.

#4 CHARLOTTE TILBURY FILMSTAR BRONZE & GLOW || Finally caved on this one – Regret not purchasing it sooner! The PERFECT golden shade (Using medium-dark)! Love for an all over bronze and simple eye shadow look. The highlighter is a gorgeous blush on lighter skin tones!

#5 PAT MCGRATH LIP GLOSS || Very luxurious! Smoothing, yet plumping – Stunning shades! (Subtle, non-annoying scent/taste) Current fav is ‘Love Potion.’

#6 NARS PRECISION LIP LINER || Specifically in Halong Bay – I have been searching FOREVER for this shade! It is the ideal nude/pink liner – Perfect for every day wear! Obsessed with it alone or layered with the Pat McGrath Lip Gloss. I still love my ‘Lip Cheat’ in Pillowtalk though!

MAKEUP OF THE DAY TUTORIAL

#1 PRIMER

I ALWAYS go back to my YSL Primer – I have combination skin with texture & pores, and THIS primer really blurs imperfections and smooths the skin! I LOVE the consistency. It leaves skin feeling extremely soft but never tacky or greasy! I will also use a Primer Water if I’m really in a hurry or layer both to really lock everything in. Smells sooo good too!

#2 FOUNDATION

The past month I have been mixing my foundations daily – I love a full coverage look but like an added luminosity for a more “natural” finish.

My favorite applicators are my BeautyBlender & L’Oreal Sponge – I find myself reaching for the L’Oreal one most often.

My current favorite full coverage, long-wearing foundations are the Studio Fix Fluid Foundation, Forever Perfect Foundation, and All Hours Full Coverage Matte Foundation. As for medium coverage, this La Mer product blows me away EVERY time. In regards to the glow factor, I love the Flawless Filter and All-In-One Glow. I will typically mix the foundations on the back of my hand or place the luminous foundation directly on the areas I want to highlight. With a damp beauty sponge, I will gently “bounce” the product into the skin. Blend. Blend. Blend.

#3 CONCEALER

I have been really struggling with products creasing and settling into fine lines in the under-eye area – These concealers seem to never let me down! I always choose a product two shades lighter than my skintone/foundation – I swear by a bright under-eye area!

If dark circles are an issue, my favorite color corrector this Instant Eye Lift! I will correct the darkness first, then layer the concealer over this product. As for a cream brightener, the Prep & Primer Highlighter in Radiant Rose is a must! I will apply this highlighter after the concealer for additional brightness.

I set the concealed areas (always ensuring everything is thoroughly blended first) with this powder – It is very finely milled and will not accentuate imperfections! The KKW Beauty brightening powder is an amazing topper.

If I want to set the entire face (oily skin/12 hour work day), Studio Fix Powder is my go-to.

#4 BROWS

I have had my brows microbladed but have not been able to complete the process since I am pregnant. Therefore, I still use these products to fill in sparse areas:

#5 BRONZE/CONTOUR

I will have an upcoming post detailing my routine/products, but these items are on current rotation –

I cannot tell you how much I LOVE these contour wands! Soo easy to use and extremely blendable! Don’t forget to apply prior to setting the face with powder. (Head over to my Instagram (@elenipeczkowski) for a video of the highlighter)
I use this bronzer (drugstore alternative) to contour my face and nose (and to set the beauty wands!) I cannot go a day without this! I will always use a matte powder to contour.

#6 EYES

I typically use bronzer all over the lid or just in the crease – SO quick and easy! A beautiful extra step is this “tan” pigment on the lid – It will seriously last you forever. Always looks gorgeous! I will also rotate this eye tint in “Camel Smoke.” Will not budge – Totally worth the splurge! Quick finish with liner (upper lid) & mascara!

#7 LIPS

First, I line my lips with Charlotte Tilbury’s lip liner – Sooo good! I use the shade “Pillowtalk.” Another favorite (and transfer proof!) is a MUFE product. Next, I applied this lipstick in “Wrong Number.”

(To prep my lips, the YSL Liquid Balm softens like a dream! It has a tint and can absolutely be worn alone)

#8 FINAL TOUCHES

Finally, I applied my favorite NARS blush & popped on some highlighter.

I use a setting spray to set my face really well – It melts the products together and keeps everything in place!

I always go back to the same three:

Fix + (Love the scented versions!)
All Nighter
Moisture Bound Energy Mist

Today’s highly requested roundup required quite some product testing! I must say I’ve never been a drugstore beauty girl – Always have had better luck with high end products. After years of reviewing, I had come to the conclusion that you get what you pay for when it comes to cosmetics. That being said, affordable makeup has had a total transformation over the past year or so. I’m very excited to share items that I truly LOVE!

Maybelline 24 HR Wear Foundation: I really, really like this formulation! It can perform against my high-end, long wearing products any day! It does not budge!

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define: Can’t believe that I will say it’s comparable to my Tarte Tape Shape – Definitely less coverage but VERY creamy. Gives me the bright under-eye that I crave. Set it with powder and lasts ALL day!

Maybelline FitMe Concealer: Flawless, natural coverage – Great for everyday wear!

L’Oreal Foundation Blender: EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Blends like a dream. I love that it is very easy to clean as well!

Coty Airspun Translucent Loose Powder: As if I needed another powder… Light, velvety soft – Great for setting concealer, baking, and cleaning up up contour!

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer: Provides the perfect sun-kissed, lit-from-within summer glow. Finely milled and creamy – Will not become muddy. Smells like a tropical vacation!

Physicians Formula Butter Blush: Beautiful pinch of color – Blends like a dream. All the same reasons as the above bronzer!

Flower Beauty Blush: Gorgeous, radiant glow – Adore EVERY shade! Excellent pigmentation!

L’Oreal Double Extend Mascara: The white primer is incredible! It significantly builds and lengthens lashes! I don’t care for the mascara side as much.

Essence Lash Princess Mascara: Extremely pigmented / Dark Black – Love the thick consistency!

KISS Blowout Lashes: This new style literally blows me away! Totally mimics my expensive pairs! Adore the ‘Pixie’ – Wispy, Fluffy, Voluminous!

DUO Eyelash Glue: Always a staple. Typically use the black glue / brush applicator.

NYX Lingerie Matte Liquid Lipsticks: Creamy & long lasting – Beautiful, weightless nude shades!

NXY Lip Liner: Great alternative to designer options – Large color section and staying power.

Wet & Wild MegaGlo Highlighters: Very fine shimmer – Excellent pigmentation!! Apply to cheekbones, brow bone, and cupid’s bow with a damp brush and the results are blinding!

ColourPop EyeShadow: Never disappoints – The metallics are STUNNING! A total steal! No creasing, fading, or fallout.

BH Cosmetice EyeShadow & Highlighter Palette: Buttery, blendable formula! Vibrant, long wearing shades. Perfect for the glam girl on the go!

NIGHTTIME SKINCARE ROUTINE

When you’re ready to take the cake off…

You all know I love a FULL GLAM look – That being said, I take my nighttime cleansing routine VERY seriously! I’ve implemented some new products in my routine the past two to three months and am very happy with the results!

#1 DOUBLE CLEANSE

I ALWAYS cleanse my face twice –

Makeup Wipe: I would call myself a makeup wipe expert! I have experimented with all brands (and prices), and these two are by far superior to the rest!

BeautyCounter One Step Makeup Remover Wipes

I was SHOCKED by these! Clean, non-toxic, fragrance free – The micellar formula literally removes everything with one swipe!

Purity Made Simple Cleansing Cloths

I purchased these because the liquid cleanser is one of my holy grail products – Definitely did not disappoint!

If I am wearing lashes (to remove the glue) or waterproof eye makeup, I will incorporate this Eye Makeup Remover. You DO NOT want to leave residue on your eyes. Your lashes and pillowcase will thank me later!

After the primary makeup remover step, I will wash my skin with a liquid facial cleanser.

Purity Made Simple Cleanser (Link to Kit with Wipes) – Even my husband is obsessed!

Another option is a Cleansing Balm – Massage product onto a DRY face to breakdown makeup and impurities. Rinse with water or wipe with a damp cloth. The balm is also incredible as an overnight mask! Trust me!

#2 TONER

I know this sounds excessive, but I will use a toner after cleansing to remove any residual makeup. You will be surprised how makeup clings to the skin, especially long wearing formulations! The toner additionally helps with breakouts and tightening pores, which I ALWAYS need.

This product is a total splurge, but I seriously cannot live without it.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream – Anti-aging, hydrating…. This cream truly transforms the texture and brightness of the skin!

Countermatch Recovery Sleeping Cream – Hydrate while you sleep – Wake up to plumper skin!

#4 EYE CREAM

I’m still searching for that perfect eye cream…. I constantly struggle with dark circles and fine lines.

My recent favorites are:

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue – This brand is killing it lately! I can’t seem to get enough of the makeup and skincare!

La Mer Eye Concentrate – I have been using a sample size product and have to say it lives up to the hype! It is incredible under foundation and concealer. I’ll keep you posted if I dive into the full size..

Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream – Magically adapts to ALL of your skin’s needs!

#5 FACE OIL

Something new I’ve incorporated into my routine – I’ve always been afraid of face oils since I struggle with oily skin. I was shocked to realize it’s the key ingredient I was missing! I typically will mix the oil with my night cream. However it can be worn alone and even used as a makeup primer! Total game changer!

#6 LIP BALM

Sisley Lip Mask – I’m literally scraping every bit out of this jar! I know it’s expensive but out of the 998, 999 lip balms I own, this is easily the best.

ByTerry Baume de Rose – Heavenly! Multi-purpose, apply to cuticles as well. I die for anything rose.

Peppermint Lip Conditioner – Love the fresh, minty scent!

#7 LASH SERUM

neuLash – Brought my lashes back to life after extensions! Be patient, results will come!

#8 CLEANSING BRUSHES

Almost every, single time I go to shopping, I leave with a bag FULL of new beauty products to try. Nordstrom and Sephora seriously are my happy place! I LOVE to read about product launches & reviews. This month I have sooo many new finds to share – Especially due to the recent VIB sale!

#1 TARTE COLOR SPLASH LIPSTICK

O-M-G! This lipstick has blown me away! I cannot believe how pigmented, hydrating, and long wearing this product is!

I love most colors in the collection but find myself wearing ‘Hibiscus’ most often.

#2 NARS BLUSH SUPER ORGASM

I love NARS blushes! I’d recently fallen in love with the cult favorite ‘Orgasm’ and decided to pick up it’s more shimmery sister. Soooo gorgeous! At first look, the glitter particles seem quite large, however, it produces a sheer pop of color and a natural glow. (The liquid version is also stunning!)

#3 NARS NATURAL RADIANT LONGWEAR FOUNDATION

Y’all know I love a FULL glam beat! This foundation is beautiful and speaks to me on so many levels!

Long-wearing – Check! Full Coverage – Check! Radiant – YES! I don’t even need to mix it with any additional products! I purchased the shade ‘Punjab’ with warmer months ahead.

#4 NARS VELVET MATTE LIP PENCIL

One of my favorite matte lip products EVER! ‘Sex Machine’ is the shade I love most.

#5 URBAN DECAY BEACHED BRONZER

Anything with tropical vibes immediately calls my name! The new ‘Beached’ collection by Urban Decay is beautiful – from the packaging to the shade ranges!

This super smooth, matte bronzer is universally flattering. Definitely a new bronze/contour staple! I am currently wearing ‘SunKissed.’

#6 TOM FORD ULTRA SHINE LIP GLOSS

The most luxurious product – totally worth the splurge! Perfect to wear alone or layer over another lip color. Yummy vanilla scent – Moisturizing but not sticky! Love the color ‘Naked.’

#7 TOM FORD BRONZER BRUSH

Finally broke down and bought this brush – Sooo happy I did! The most glamorous, soft, precise applicator ever! The Tom Ford bronzer is already one of my holy grail products, and this elevates it to a level I didn’t think was possible.

#8 SEPHORA COLLECTION INSTANT DRY BRUSH CLEANER

I am obsessed with cleaning my makeup tools daily – I need the process to be quick and easy! This fast drying spray easily lifts all impurities & conditions makeup brushes!

In my opinion, the Sephora Collection has the BEST cleaning products by far! I additionally love the Citrus Brush Cleanser & The Solid Clean (perfect for beauty sponges).

#9 YVES SAINT LAURENT VOLUPTE LIQUID BALM

A medium coverage, high-shine liquid lip – Feels incredible on! It took me a minute to fall in love with the consistency, but I promise you will not believe how amazing your lips feel ALL day! Ideal for running errands or a work day!
